Seven reasons why God created Eve

I found this in a magazine and had a few laughs so I thought I’d share it with you.

7. God was worried that Adam would always get lost in the garden because he refused to ask anybody for directions.

6. God knew that one day Adam would ned someone to find and give him the television's remote control.

5. God knew Adam would never go out and buy himself a new fig leaf to cover himself up when he wore out his old one.

4. As the keeper of the Garden, Adam would never remember where he put down his tools.

3. Apparently, Adam needed someone to blame everything on every time something happens.

2. God thought that leaving man alone could be dangerous!

1. When God finished creating Adam, He stepped back, scratched His head and said, "I can do better than that."

There wasn't any mention of an author's name in the magazine but I would guess that the author must be a female. Hehehe!

Busy, busy, busy!

This must  be the busiest  2 months I have ever had  after residency training.  Not  that many patients  since its summer (that is usually the trend presumably because everyone is on vacation somewhere) but my other “work” is keeping me busy.

I have also been busy attending weddings. Three of my friends got married almost only a week apart from each other but it doesn’t stop there because another friend is getting married on the 27th. My aunt (mom’s sister) and her husband will be renewing their vows on the occasion of their 25th wedding anniversary on the 1st week of June. She asked me to buy for her the material for her dress and I am glad that she was happy with my choice.  I also edited their invitation since she had it made in Malaysia where my uncle is based. They just copied the words daw from the printer’s sample but wanted me to check it first so I ended up editing the invitation over the phone. Hehe!

I have been busy meeting old friends. My old high school barkada is here for a visit but I only got to talk to her a few days before she and her family were supposed to fly back to Arizona. Mabuti na lang she had their flights rescheduled kasi bitin daw sila. We took advantage of it by having marathon talks over the phone and just hanging out. We did some reminiscing but our talks were more on updating each other about our lives. I love her 2 kids! The girl is 16 and very pretty while the boy is a very tall 11 (he’s 6 ft!). My friend is home schooling them and have Filipino values. They can’t speak Tagalog but they can understand it since Mom talks to them in Tagalog. Kudos to Mom!

A research I am involved in needs to be submitted on June 15 and we still have to meet with the statistician so I am trying to cram it in my schedule too. We need to finish everything before May ends so that we can do the final editing 1st week of June. Please pray that everything will go well with the statistician next week.

It will be a long weekend for us here in the Philippines because May 14, Monday will be the local elections. I am promising myself to take it easy this weekend but I will be praying hard that everything will go smoothly and peacefully on Monday. This must be the most violent election in Philippine history to date with killings left and right almost everyday. Please vote wisely!
